Hair Services
Haircuts
For any hair cut without color,
go to the category called HAIR CUTS, and choose based on how long your hair is. If you are looking for a budget option or just don’t mind helping out a stylist in training, go to Apprentice Services and find a haircut option there.
Apprentice Services
For other hair services,
choose the HAIR CARE category, and find conditioning treatments, scalp treatments, and a place to book your event hair (not for brides).

For hair color,
with or without a cut, see the different options below…
New Client Color and Cut
If you Don’t know what Color To book,
go to HAIR COLOR category and choose the New Client Color or New Client Color and Cut. You can pick a stylist, and then find a time and day that works for you.
We will text or call you if we need to change your service time, based on your intake forms.
Hair Color Service Category
If you know what Color service you want,
just click “HAIR COLOR,” to see the services and click “more info” for descriptions.
To add a haircut, first choose your color service and stylist preference, and then click “YES” when asked “Do you want to add another service?” Go to ADD ON HAIR CUTS FOR COLOR SERVICES,” and choose the haircut for your length.
If you have medium length, thick hair, please choose “ADD ON Hair Cut: Long Length, Curly or Thick Hair.”
If you want to go drastically lighter,
add or remove unicorn colors, or to remove dark hair color, book a Complete Color Change, and fill out the intake form in your booking text or email.
If you still need help figuring out what you want, book a 10-minute Color Consultation on a separate day, before booking a service.
You may also book “Full Bleach Out, including Toner and Blowout,” to go all blonde if you don’t have dark or red artificial hair color already in your hair.
After you book,
You will get a text and an email with appointment details. If you don’t get these, your booking did not go through and there is still a step left.
How to get here:
We are a sustainable salon, and encourage walking and public transportation. Breckenridge Free Ride Bus stops right outside our doors at Ridge St / Lincoln St, and Ridge St / Washington St. Purple Route A and B both stop here.
In you car, follow your GPS to 118 S. Ridge St. and park anywhere on Ridge St or French St, between Washington St and Lincoln Street. French St is free for 2 hours. On Ridge St, use the Passport Parking App or a kiosk to pay with credit card $0.50-1.00 per hour. Our team can help you pay for parking. Our block’s on-street parking is zone 774.
Shuttle: Tell the driver our salon name (BCB Salon, Chopping Block) or address 118 S. Ridge St. and they will be able to drop you off within one block. There are 2 shuttle stops on our block.
Once you arrive:
Every appointment begins with a consultation. Your stylist will ask questions to get an idea of your hair goals for the first appointment, and long term goals for future appointments. We will also want to know what kind of experience you are looking for. Are you busy, and looking for a fast and efficient service? Or are you looking to relax and unwind, maybe with an audiobook in your earbuds during your service? Would you like to chat and learn about the area through your stylist? We want to know, so you get the style of pampering you need!
During Your Service:
Your service provider will make notes for your appointment, including your custom color formula, type of pressure you like in your massage, styling and care preferences, and more.
We have Wi-Fi, and phone chargers to keep you entertained during your appointment. There is canned sparkling water, and we filter Breckenridge water on our tap, so remember your refillable bottle. We also have some small snacks for your visit.
At the end of your service, you will learn some tips for home care, we may take some instagram pictures, and we will explain what to book next time, and if you like, set you up for your next appointment.
