Hi Friend!

I’m Jess! I’m excited to be apprenticing at Chopping Block Salon after wanting to become a stylist for most of my life.

I love to get my hands dirty climbing mountains in the summer and snowboarding in the winter, but I also enjoy dressing up for a concert or festival. I have always loved experimenting with my hair and styling my friend’s hair. Now I have a mentor to guide me beyond my DIY foundation.

You might think an apprentice service is a gamble, but I have already learned the importance of a thorough consultation so we are on the same page before we begin. I don’t rush or ignore what you ask for. I want to give you hair that you love, so the details are super important to me.

When I’m not in the salon, you might find me bartending at Radicato, weight training at the gym, or adventuring outside. My life as an outdoorsy girl who can appreciate a dress up opportunity gives me a great perspective to help you love your hair, even under a hat, in a pony, or fully styled. I can’t wait to meet you in the salon!
