Hi, I’m Sami!

If you’re feeling bored with your hair and ready for an update, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re coming in for a color touch-up and a trim or something completely new, my goal is to help you feel genuinely happy and comfortable with your hair.

One thing clients consistently tell me is that they feel listened to, and that means a lot to me. I really believe it’s the key to creating a result you’ll love.

When you come in, I take the time to get on the same page with you. We look at photos together and talk through what you like and don’t like. From there, I walk you through what your hair can realistically do and how it will work with your lifestyle, so everything feels clear and comfortable from the start.

Along with ongoing education at Chopping Block and advanced training through Wella Studio, I also completed advanced cutting and design training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Beverly Hills. I love staying current with trends and pairing strong technique with clear communication so you feel confident throughout the process.

I care deeply about the experience, not just the end result. I have fun working with creative rainbow colors, natural highlights, expressive cuts, and simple trims, and I really enjoy the conversations that happen along the way. My goal is for your appointment to feel relaxed, enjoyable, and like a break from the everyday.

Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me snowboarding around Breckenridge or traveling to other countries during mud season. I also love spending time with friends’ dogs when they need a sitter.

I’ve been part of the Summit County community for over a decade, and Chopping Block feels like the right place for me. It’s a space that values listening, trust, and making people feel comfortable from the moment they walk in.
