Hey, I’m Sami!
After working in salons for 3 years and completing my apprenticeship at Chopping Block, I am officially a licensed stylist! This new chapter for me comes after living in Summit County for 10 years, shredding, and working many jobs.
I originally decided to start working in a salon because my hair stylist made such a positive impact in my life and we became friends. I saw how meaningful the conversations in the salon can be and I wanted to help others in the same way.
I have been a massage therapist and restaurant server, among other service jobs. I also love dog sitting in my spare time. Now, I am stoked for the opportunity to create a judgement-free space for you. Even if you don’t know much about hair, and don’t spend time doing your hair every day, I’d love to be your stylist. I’m happy to see you once per month, once per year, or any time in between.
I love to play with vivid colors, usually starting with highlights or a bleach-out. Not every stylist wants to do green, pink, or purple hair, but I love that stuff! Let’s make an art piece together, pulling from the full spectrum of the rainbow, beyond brown and blonde.
There is more to a salon visit than just the outcome of the hair. I care about the conversation, and giving you a moment to relax and feel good. Will I do a good job on your hair? Yes. Will we laugh as we recap the mishaps and wins of your life? Also yes.
So, if you want someone to a be open, understanding, and actually listen to you, even if you want “crazy” hair, plus you need to relax and get your hair done, I’m your stylist.
