Hello neighbor,
I’m Maddie, a Summit County Native in love with ballet/modern dance and hair styling. After cosmetology school in Colorado Springs, I have returned to my hometown, Breckenridge.
The school I attended, Tigi Hairdressing Academy, is known for high-quality education, which jumpstarted my learning. Now that I have been licensed and taking clients in the salon for a year, I still have mentors to lean on. I realize education will need to be constant in this career, and I have already attended advanced color classes by Wella, and multiple hands-on training sessions in the salon, plus a professional convention in Vegas in my first year at Chopping Block Salon.
Most new stylists think they know it all and try to fake their way to success. I have a different approach. I see endless learning opportunities and ask my mentors questions when needed. I take my time to understand you, and I pay attention to details, because I care about giving you the exact result you want.
In between busy seasons in Breck, I plan to continue my modern dance training, and hope to travel around the world with a dance company in the future. I’d love to hear your travel stories when you come in.
