Hi girlfriend,
I’m Emily! I grew up in Portland, Oregon and Dallas, Texas. I am inspired by the style of nightlife events, and energized by the serenity of the mountains in the day. I followed my heart to Breckenridge, and found forever friends here.
After 3 years coordinating appointments and enjoying the salon vibe, I was inspired to become a hair stylist. For the last year, I have been apprenticing with the salon owner, Melanie, serving hundreds of clients.
Growing up crafty, I chose to study fashion in college before going to hair school. I use my education and natural vision for shapes and colors to guide my work with salon clients.
Many stylists don’t make suggestions, and just ask what you want, but I connect on a deeper level. I care about what books you are reading, and what music you enjoy seeing live. All of what makes you you, contributes to your personal style, which I help you express. I am paying attention so I know what hair style to recommend, and how to get you there.
Outside of the salon I love to curl up with hot tea by a fire, and I DJ for parties and events like Pride Fest, Ecstatic Dance, and Yoga. I enjoy going to live shows, and I manage the playlist at Chopping Block, to keep the mood elevated all day.
